beers i've tried since starting christmas break:

-bass pale ale
-xx amber (mexico)
-tecate (mexico)
-san miguel dark (philippines)
-peroni (italy)

my cousin chris and i walked across the mexican border to see what was up in nogales. apparently a lot is up, but it's best not to inquire. incidentally, it seems the adventurous person can acquire any drug they desire within the first 20 feet of entering the country of mexico (drugs i've tried since starting christmas break: none). the whole first street is lined with nothing but "pharmacies", whose employees will follow you down the whole block naming off drugs expecting you to say, "wait, you have valium? well why didn't you say so earlier!" the next block is lined with nothing but little corner stores each selling the exact same merchandise for any price you're not too ashamed to name. "normally, this goes for $40, but.. my boss isn't here. i tell you what: what do you give me for this?" i started my bidding at 10, but i should've said 5, cos i probably could've actually gotten it for 10 then. anyway, it was interesting, but too stressful to walk for more than 2 blocks when every five feet someone else is trying to get you to buy "something for your neighbor's girlfriend!" and only one person would even speak to me in spanish! next time i need to just drive a good ways into mexico and find a nice, non-border town to hang out in.

king kong is long. there's not much else wrong with it, it's just long.

PS: did you know if you let a male rabbit hump your arm, he could break it?

hey doodz! i'm in the big A-Z. i just got here from spending a few days in missouri/kansas. it is snowing there, you must visit. i saw my brother graduate, which was surreal but cool. then we went to some parties, which was also cool. downed a whole bottle of the goose betwixt the 4 of us (joel, monica, chris & i). the goose was loose!

arizona has spectacular weather and scenery, just an overabundance of country music. my mother listens to it now, for some reason. so does my cousin, who used to be a die-hard gangsta rap fan. so right now i'm listening to my iPod via itrip and my mom's cd player. i miss my amigos and mi novia, brittany. but it's almost christmas, and i can't go back home until i have my presents!

this month's issue of rolling stone is sweet. it has jay-z on the cover. i usually think rolling stone sucks, but there's like a 10 page article on biggie's murder/conspiracy/coverup and a comical foldout map of the hip-hop galaxy that kept me entertained on two of my many plane flights. there's also a little blurb on lady sov.

i rented the baxter. maybe i'll watch it when joel gets here.

does anyone have a digital projector? that would the the coolest thing ever to have at the new year's party. i doubt we'll get one, but i'm making a bunch of custom animations to play in the background all night, and they would be amazing projected onto a wall. however, i'll probably just wind up playing them on our two televisions.

whoever lives upstairs was banging around and making lots of noise last night, so we pounded on the ceiling (the way they always pound on their floor when i play my acoustic guitar). they responded by jumping up and down really loudly and running back and forth across their floor.

our stairs are being painted, so the walls of our building are covered in glorified trash bags.

never move into pegasus pointe. if you live there, don't renew.

my upstairs neighbor is a capital douchebag. for some reason if i play my acoustic guitar in the late afternoon they are greatly disturbed to the point of having to bang on their floor. they're lucky my electric guitar is at victor's cos there's big fat amplifier lying silently on my floor right now. oh well.. i guess i'll just subject them to pounding mahjongg beats if they don't want to hear a quiet acoustic guitar.

since the paintings seem to be selling pretty well, and because people keep on telling me to, i'm raising their prices to $8 and $5. BUT if you've already expressed interest in a particular painting, you can still have it for the earlier stated prices ($5 or $3).

check out killerpop.com to see all the latest paintings and their status (sold, reserved, etc.).
